Damian Nassiri
Damian J. Nassiri is a co-founding partner of HOWARD | NASSIRI, PC, a law firm headquartered in Anaheim, California. HOWARD | NASSIRI does business as "CANNABIS LAW GROUP." Mr. Nassiri regularly represents and is a consultant to several collectives, growers, patients and doctors throughout Southern California and heads up the law firm's medical marijuana advocacy and litigation group. The goal of CANNABIS LAW GROUP is to fight to ensure that seriously ill Californians have the right to obtain and use marijuana for medical purposes.
Mr. Nassiri's practice focuses on a wide range of medical marijuana issues, including medical marijuana incorporation, which services collectives, growers, mobile dispensaries and doctors. In addition, Mr. Nassiri consults with and represents medical marijuana collectives in civil litigation against cities and municipalities, with respect to their medical marijuana ordinances. This area of civil litigation necessarily involves cutting edge constitutional law, zoning and land use issues.
Mr. Nassiri has helped several collectives set up shop and run their dispensary in compliance with the Compassionate Use Act (Proposition 215), the Medical Marijuana Program Act ("MMPA" also known as SB420), the Attorney General's Guidelines, as well as the California case law interpreting these statutes. He is a tireless champion for the patients' fight to have safe access to medical marijuana.
Mr. Nassiri manages a team of experienced attorneys whose focus is to provide quality legal services to its medical marijuana dispensary clients. As part of his elite team, Mr. Nassiri has at his disposal criminal defense attorneys who can deal with criminal prosecutions as the need presents itself.
Mr. Nassiri is a member of the State Bar of California and is admitted to practice in all Courts in the State of California. He is also an active member of the American Association for Justice, Consumer Attorneys of California, Orange County Trial Lawyers Association, National Association of Consumer Attorneys and the Robert Banyard Inn of Court.
